This 6 month aged Reposado has a nice golden hay color. It was matured in American and French oak barrels. The nose is nice and clean. There’s hints of cooked agave, some fruit including ripe banana, soft sweetness from barrel char that I usually get from FO tequilas, muted minerals and barrel spices. The nose is light but pleasant. - The flavors are more intense on the palate. The barrel spices are prominent but they ride on the back of cooked agave. The American oak provides the cinnamon and dry oak tannins while the French oak provides that round dense sweetness that only FO can. Some cayenne and black pepper hit right before the finish. This repo has some flavor punches without it being spiky. It’s flavorful but not dense. It’s spicy but not hot. It’s worth trying.

Some melon in the aroma, which is a nice throwback to how tequila tasted many years ago. Flavor is light caramel, agave, and vanilla. Super easy to drink, and not all that complex.
