So for some reason, this is the sleeper to XA they released. The reposado is Mexican release only ? And, amazingly, regular price . Very classy packaging. The aroma and taste are definitely kicked up a couple notches. The agave’s there , along with some whisky and caramel notes, finishes long and hot and very tasty . Could easily be classified as an exceptional anejo ! I want more !

Lote: 20107K0741, bottled on 16-04-2020, tasted on 10-14-23 Color: brown. Aroma: cooked agave, burnt caramel, light vanilla, slightly herbal, light acidity, pretty intense toasted wood note that is almost too dominating. Palate: confirms aromas perceived, wood note becomes slightly astringent, feels warm and quite sweet overall, but sadly not from agave. Finish is medium to long, sweet burnt caramel with toasted wood notes and light acidic notes persist.
