Smells excellent- like wet stone after a rain storm Clean taste & finish. This would be a great gateway tequila for a blance drinker getting into reposados Very versatile. Subtle hints of tropical fruit, sweet fruits, stone, dirt, and herbacious notes. Touches all corners of taste. I like this one
Eye- clear with a slight tint on yellow Nose-loads of cinnamon, upfront and pure agave sweetness with a slight bit of dark chocolate Taste- cooked agave, barrel spice, slight bit of orange peel, and light pepper. The bitterness from maybe the orange peal stays on the back end and last (subtle).
Clean agave with a subtle palate and soft finish. Tasted with AF 2024 Blind Repo. My lowest scoring tasting. This one did not sit with me.
Blind- Light on the color. Vegetal with some smoke and minerality on the nose. On the palate I get vegetal notes like bell pepper and some minerals.
Some barrel spice and a bit of smoke on the nose. This has a nice suave entry and agave sweetness along with the nosed barrel spice. Medium length finish with some bite on the swallow gives this an uptick on the finish score. Tasted during 2024 AF Reposado Blind
Overall - not very distinctive. Aroma - minerality with raw agave. Flavor - more fruity perhaps grapefruit/oranges but little barrel impression. Finish - "uneventful" . . . no follow thru.
Very clear appearance for an aged spirit. N- black pepper, fresh agave, brine, straw T- honey, roasted peanuts, cooked agave, bell pepper MF- medium F- medium and dry. Super clean from start to finish
Light repo, easy to drink, well price additive free good tasting Reposado, light flavor notes of cinnamon, and spice.
Nose: cooked agave, minerals, spice, caramel, and butterscotch Flavor: agave, caramel, butterscotch, pepper, and light spice Finish: medium with spice and sweetness
Agave, mineral, caramel, cinnamon, light oak. Light Reposado. Nicely done. 86 Rated blind: Wet cement, minerals, and cinnamon. Nice legs. 89

Didn’t get much cooked agave, but is Somewhere in there. Besides that this profile has a good balance of what you expect from a reposado; barrel spice, sweetness (caramel/vanilla), clove, while also showcasing some grass and herbal notes (raw agave) and a minimal alcohol intake Price is just a bit off at $55
Tried at Lovanda restaurant in Arandas Jalisco 9/11/24. Smell is alcohol with agave, vanilla and oak. Taste is agave and citrus, pepper and oak but the alcohol taste is present. This is 38%.
Nose: cooked agave with some cinnamon and clove. Little earthy. Taste: light oak, just a bit toasted. baking spices coming through from the barrel. a bit briny but nothing too much. the finish is decently long as well.
Nose: light oak, cooked agave, minerality, vegetal, wet grass Palate: Cooked agave, oak, lime/lemon, Finish: def little alcohol through out the finish of sipping, light burn but not to bad, agave still present as well as oak.
Blind taste test Aroma- very mineral/earthy/herbal, smells like a blanco, definite agave, hint of anise Flavor- full bodied, thyme, agave, earthy, not overly inspiring Finish- thyme, agave, ginger, earthy, blanco like
The longer this is open, the better it gets. Taste is heavy cooked agave and black pepper decent weight for mouth feel but not as oily as others. Finish is peppery and tingly on the gums moderate decay but seems to linger after I think it is gone.. Sometimes, I get a little rubbing. alcohol at the very end... sometimes not
I like this more than the blanco. Oak, cooked agave and cinnamon, tangerine in the aromas and taste. Cinnamon & oak on the tongue in the finish.
Nothing overly remarkable but a solid repo for the price. A little citrus, caramel and toffee with a subtle oaky finish.
Nose - Agave, light oak, dark fruit, pepper Taste - Agave, pepper, citrus, light flavors Not very oily. Very light color Tasting 2 Nose - agave, dark fruit, light oak, cherry Taste - agave, citrus, pepper, soft flavors, brine? Tasting 3 Nose - Agave, dark fruits, cherry, oak, vanilla, white pepper Taste - Agave, citrus/lime, dark cherry, oak, honey, vanilla, pepper light minerality
This hits the trifecta. Agave/pepper/minerality. The nose is very light but is followed by the agave and pepper. Both flavors are balanced and neither are exceptionally bold or overpowering. The minerality joins on the finish. The finish has a very slight “hotness “ but is clean and crisp. This is a good tequila to demonstrate flavors to someone who has difficulty identifying characteristics. The price is fair. I purchased at 45 dollars. I also liked the blanco.
A nice tequila at under 40 bucks. nice barrel notes and mouth feel. The back end is minerals and pepper.
Aroma: agave, alcohol, pepper, minerals, caramel Pallet: soft, matches the aroma. Sweet! Easy sipper. Lacks a big punch of flavor. Finish is weaker great value
Not the best and not the worst reposado. I liked their blanco a lot more. The regular Tequileño repo is a better deal.

Aroma/Taste: The tequila opens with notes of cooked agave, followed by a hint of Parmesan cheese and a touch of yeast. The earthiness is reminiscent of damp soil, and the barrel aging contributes rich oak, cinnamon, nutmeg, and clove undertones. Finish: The finish is medium to medium-long, leaving a warm trail of baking spices and a kick of black pepper. A subtle bitterness lingers, adding complexity. Overall: This tequila strikes a harmonious balance between the sweetness of cooked agave and the gentle influence of light barrel aging. It’s perfect for sipping, especially by the firepit on cool evenings.
