Vegetal and bright agave nose. Smells like signature 1123. Very easy sipper. Slight heat on the finish. A little flat.
Agave pepper jalapeño and tabaco
Chewing tobacco, agave, minerals, well water
N- Agave, citrus, grass, herbal, a little briney minerality, white pepper T- Sweet baked agave, lemon, butter, mint, black pepper, anise, seeded jalapeno M- Thin yet silky. F- Medium in length but beautifully balanced V- my sample was free but judging by online prices this is a great value for a great blanco
Nose: sweet cooked agave, earthy, fresh cut grass, anise, fresh flowers, and Meyer lemon Flavor: cooked agave, pepper, citrus, anise, and light cocoa in the background Finish: long with sweet agave and some light pepper spice
Beautiful, sweet and floral nose with a hint of citrus. Minerality is noticeable and mouthfeel is terrific. Long, lovely, balanced finish. Pretty decent price for this quality, too. A top-flight blanco and another 1123 winner.
Aroma: Juicy agave, lemon, mint, and a touch floral Flavor: Sweet agave, pepper, minerals, citrus Finish: light mouthfeel, with long legs and a nice medium finish. This has some earthiness and minerals while also being a bright and easy drinker. And the aroma is very inviting. It really strikes a nice balance for agave experts and tequila newbies. I’m going to enjoy killing this bottle!
I’m told that these agaves are from Michoacán. This information is not currently listed as such in the app. Nose: Green and black peppercorns, anise, cinnamon and lemon rind. Caramelized uber sweet agave. A hint of flowers. Crisp earth/mineral notes. Flavors: Sweet and silky, with a “pop” of pepper. Incredible natural sweetness. Hints of cherry. Sits pleasurably on the palate and may be dangerously easy to drink over the course of an evening. I wouldn’t characterize Legado as overly complex - but it has a very compelling sipping profile.
Earth, cooked agave, herbal and jalapeño notes, with a nice oily mouthfeel. At the top of my glass I get light floral notes. Nicely done!
Love this blanco coming out of 1123. Simple delicious mouth feel, mid palate and long finish. Lots of sweet cooked agave notes, light white pepper, anis and mint. Very balanced. An enjoyable sipper
Lote: 232. Bottled on 200522. Aromas: sweet cooked agave! Light floral aromas, mint and a touch of citrus. Clean. Palate: sweet cooked agave, citrus, good balance, light anise. Finish is medium to long and the sweet agave with a touch of citrus and floral aromas persist.
Another absolute gem from Cascahuin.
it's a good Blanco but not anything special. There are others I would rather drink.
Full bodied and a lot of flavor. Love the minty notes in this.
Nose: Green Grassy Earthy Fresh sliced jalapeños Green Pepper Flavor: Agave Pepper Minerals Mint Nice finish!!! Killer blanco!
Nice on this is amazing! True agave Loving this one
At $50 a bottle can't go wrong, especially out of 1123. Excellent
This is good but doesn’t pack a punch. Extremely easy to drink. Loads of agave, pepper some citrus, minerality.
Excelente tequila made with pride by Chava. A must try, owned by Homies from the infamous south central LA . Amazing roasted agave flavors, great on the nose and perfect sippiruu
The new brand from NOM 1123 that is in its way to make a legacy and redefine the delightfulness of an artisanal tequila. Please see below our Blanco tasting review: Aroma: Bright and vivid that it leaps from the glass. Highly volatile vegetal and mineral notes that simmer into fruity and herbal aromatic notes. It’s a very fresh and crisp profile, that invites you to sip right away, just be careful as you may not stop… (we warned you!). Wow, this nose is absolutely stunning. Notes: raw agave, cucumber peel, limestone, melon, grilled pear, pineapple, bell pepper, tamarind, mint, key lime, and thyme. Flavors: Crisp, with a heavy lean on the agave essence notes which are complemented with minerality and herbal nuances. The mid-palate is kept clean and agave forward with slight hints of sweet mint, anise and lemongrass. Some slight notes of green fruits like pear, green apple and pineapple keep popping. The finish leads into a soft citrus and earthiness gradation with hints of cinnamon, clove and ginger. An enjoyable warmth of the spirit emanates quietly from the back of the palate. Very interesting. This Blanco is very enjoyable and the profile developed is suitable for beginners and connoisseurs. Notes: cooked agave, mineral, herbal, green fruits/apple, citrus, mandarin, black pepper, mint, anise, tamarind, cinnamon, clove and ginger
Written review coming soon.
A lovely balance of sweetness and spice with hints of citrus and licorice.
Wow, wow, wow, did I mention wow! This was very good. Have to find me a bottle asap. Solid Blanco you will enjoy very much.
Aroma, cooked agave, green pepper, faint cacao. Flavor, agave and light jalapeño followed by faint pine, soil, pepper, and sugar that lingers in the finish. Something a little different tasting about this one either due to process or the agaves that some have mentioned. A nice change of pace.

On the nose, loads of agave and minerals, a bit of citrus and earthiness. On the palate, again loads of agave. Really the star of the show. Some lime rind, a bit “green” so to speak. Very earthy but not super distinct as in Montagave lot 3. Sweet, citrusy, and very easy to drink. I’m not sure what Chava is doing over there, but he’s figured out a way to make this delicious tequila go down like water. This is definitely “smooth”, probably one of the best 80 proof tequilas I’ve had.
