I really wish there were more bottles. The aroma on this is amazing from the XA barrel notes. This is one of my favorite tequilas ever. It's as if Scarlet knows a thing or two about tequila :) Trust Scarlet's taste.

Not so subtle barrel notes from the almost 5 year aged XA are balanced by enough of the sweet Blanco elements of roast agave and baking bread to present a very, very interesting sip. A slight overproof to 42% keeps this interesting in the mouth and leads to a finish that is an amalgam of the best of the XA with caramel, cinnamon and some light oak sweetness and the natural sweetness of the Blanco.

Cooked agave, butterscotch, cinnamon with caramel on the front with a velvety mouthfeel with a soft long lasting finish. Thanks to the high furfural concentration of the XA barrel, we were able to discover a quite unique and limited and delightful Joven! Kudos to Scarlet, Grover and Suave.

Out of the bottle: light agave on the glass sides, bottom edge is light agave and citrus, center glass springs out more agave and apple, peal slight caramel, and oaks off the top of glass once aired: great legs, although high sugar content as they almost sit pleasingly atop the glass side Taste: rather light at first, slight bite, then agave, smooths out very nicely. Finish: smooth, agave and oak after wards, Not as bold as the Añejo yet great taste
