This is a solid Blanco, well made, with just the right mouth feel, notes of sweet cooked agave, spice, citrus

The nose is well balanced and light (not dense). The aromas are soft and clean. There are herbal and floral notes. Spearmint, hints of lemon and then buttery agave appear. When I dive deep there are some earthy mineral notes too. Up front I taste herbs, mint, and then the cooked agave. Next I get some vegetal notes, hints of citrus and then some pepper. I’ve tasted and review many tequilas, especially blancos, and this nose is refreshingly different. It tastes good and it can be found at a good price point. I’ll sip it but I think a good bartender could make some nice cocktails with this one.

Tasted initially in Monterey, this and the Cazcanes Still Strength and Joven are the only bottles I sought out for purchase after the event. Creamy in the mouth with some nice viscosity and a full agave flavor this is a very easy sipper with a bit of a short finish.
