On the nose alcohol, orange, yeast. Touch - stickiness lingers beyond normal for additive free. Burn lingers on the back end and on the tongue. Flavor of cooked agave muskiness and earthy.

Lote 194BDA This profile showcases notes of buttery agave and rich caramel nuance from a cooked agave. You will then be received by a complex framework of citrus (lemon, lemongrass, lemon peel), earthiness (briny, salt, minerals) and vegetal (grass, cucumber peel) Definitely visit their aged expressions as you will be delighted by their barrel personality.

On the nose I first get the cooked agave and then some lime zest and lemongrass. There a subtle undertone of wet cement and minerals. It’s a clean and pleasant nose. I taste the cooked agave and then a pop of pepper on the first sip. On the second sip the agave is richer and buttery. The pepper is more subtle and moves to the finish. On the mid pallet I taste the lemon and lime. There’s a slight brine. It’s a nice sipping tequila. There is a nice oily and viscous mouthfeel. The pepper finish lingers nicely. Re-reviewing this product I added a point for the finish and value. This is a quality tequila and all tastings should be re-reviewed over time for consistency.

The aroma is both soft and distinct, notes of agave, a sweetness but not overtly sweet, citrus undertones, and a hint of light pepper. No scathing ethyl. Aromatically inviting. Upon the palate, the tasting experience unfolds with agave, the bright presence of green citrus, a touch of light earthiness, and freshness. The sweetness, reminiscent of wet sugar cane, adds a delicious intracacy to the overall composition. The finish is gentle as light sweetness persists, accompanied by subtle minerality, a trace of earthiness, and a fading freshness that lingers on the palate. Easy to enjoy.

LOTE217BDA, acquired on November 2023, tasted on 12-3-23. Aroma: cooked agave, green vegetal notes, light metallic aroma, light fruity sweetness. Palate: confirms aromas perceived, green vegetal note is more intense on the palate, metallic note is less noticeable on the palate. Finish is medium to medium long, cooked agave with green vegetal notes persist.

This is unique from what I have had… the aroma brings me right back to brewing beer… 2-row malt mash with a little black pepper to go with it…

Baked agave with lemon undertones. This also has a minerality which creates an odd taste. The mouthfeel is soft and oily. I’m not a huge fan.

This tequila exceeded my expectations I was hesitant to buy it since fancy bottles usually equate to subpar tequilas. Its exceptional flavor, prominently featuring sweet, clean agave, truly shines. This bottle is offered at an exceptional price point and would be a great gift to any tequila enthusiast.

On the nose I get a sweet buttery roasted agave, and freshness. on the taste a nice punch of flavor of cooked agave. I get a hint of fresh squeezed lemon, full of flavor at the front, mid and end pallet. A tequila well made at a great price.

Smells like vanilla. Tastes like vanilla. nutty, slight cocoa. First sip Id have said it was Don Abraham. but after a few sips it’s a sweeter smoothed out version of it, I don’t think that’s in its favor. I would not buy this again nor recommend it. maybe someone looking for a gateway to sipping. 1480
