Well made, lightly barrel aged Repo, best of the celeb tequilas out there currently

Aroma: Light and vegetal, with hints of cooked agave and melon. Flavor: A nice, clean minerality, with a very slight sweetness to it. Finish: Cooked agave and black pepper on the finish. Some bite but very pleasant. Overall: A well made, easy to sip tequila that holds it own. Very light in color and on barrel influence.

Prominent aroma of melon (cantaloupe), flavor of melon, mint, and vanilla. It has a musty finish. Full mouthfeel likely related to the aeration used in the process.

Cantaloupe and vanilla aromas with a rich mouthfeel. Slight barrel funk and spice on the finish. I always appreciate the rare melon aroma!

First sniff I get a lot of pepper and agave and that is what comes through for me on the first taste. It's very spicy but not unpleasantly so. It is surprisingly smooth on the palette and pleasant to sip for a pure reposado. This is a great pure tequila for a good price.

love the flaver and how smooth it is has a nice finish dose well in mixers I think that's what they were going for something that mixes well and stands out in the drink.

Decent aroma of agave and maybe cement or melon? Coats the glass nicely and flavor is a little odd, not much barrel or baking spices only pepper. Finish is a little on the hot side, not too bad. Decent sipper but definitely not Cabo Blue.

Aroma is very present as soon as you pour it in the glass. Flavor is good with strong agave. Finish has more burn than expected. Great to see a celebrity tequila certified additive free - worth a try just for that!

Blind rated on 12/31/21 with El Tesoro (single barrel), Don Nacho, Fortaleza, Santo Fino & Azuñia repos. Mild cooked agave aroma. Definitely different taste than others, slight sweetness, maybe melon? Mild smooth easy finish.

It starts off with great aromas. Cooked agave, vegetal, citrus. The flavor was a tad to sweet. Comparable to artificial sweetner. It hard to believe its "additive free?"

I am picking up a faint agave aroma with a touch of sweetness, I personally like the flavor , a little rustic with agave, some sweetness, slight vanilla and fruit , a finish that lingers for a while . Characters of a small batch product , I am a fan of the mesquila , I may add a few notes as I work through the bottle .

Wow, what a bummer . Strange smells and tastes . Not horribly bad, but not ok or good either . Such a disappointment compared to the blanco and their mezquila . Here I thought Sammy was bringing it back full circle to the Cinco Soles era. Nope . Maybe this was just a bad batch and the QC were on siesta . LoL !!!

I get an unpleasant aftertaste like a sweaty T-shirt with grass stains and dirt on the shoulders. I made a few different margaritas with it and none impressed me.

A celebrity tequila that is additive free. l don't get much aroma but this shines with a smooth mouthfeel and finish. Flavors of vanilla, agave and pepper/spice. A fine effort and easy sipper.

For all of those Cabo blue bottle fans, don’t get your hopes up. While other reviews claim that this is the “return of the blue bottle” Cabo Reposado, you’re going to be disappointed. While I don’t have the most sensitive/experienced palate, there is a flavor coming across that I was not expecting. I won’t say that this is bad tequila, I do think that a lot of the hype clouds expectations. I will finish the bottle, but I don’t think I’ll buy it again, especially for the price. There are numerous more tequilas, blanco/reposado, that are less expensive that I enjoy more. IMO it just shows that price doesn’t equal quality/drinkability. I’ll continue to sample what I hear other recommend. I like being pleasantly surprised.

Very unique flavor. Sweet vanilla and melon and thick on the palette. Def worth a try! Knocked for lack of balance.
