really good Tequila with some agave notes in the smell. Love the french oak finish in this one bc is not overly sweet. Found it at a great price for an añejo it was a great experience.

I really like this Anejo. It's different, but a good different . The bright floral agave, citrus, caramel, honey smell and flavor is excellent. It is so bright in the glass. It is very underrated. So good. Good barrel presence. Barrel does not overpower the agave. I have many Añejos and this is one I always return to. Just like their Reposado . Just amped up. Let it rest in your glass and just enjoy the beautiful aroma. Smell the glass the next day. Your finished glass never lies. Always smell your dried up glass. It will reveal the real complexity and work that went into your tequila. Highly recommend.

This Anejo is fantastic! It’s spirted like their Repo, but on the front end. Aroma is cooked agave, baking spices, fruit, butterscotch. The taste is robust! Strong baking spices, caramel, fruit, honey and agave. Light vanilla and wood. Finish is strong and doesn’t fade! I’m in love! The owner of this brand is Alex Gonzales who’s the drummer for the great Mexican rock band Mana. The packaging and bottle are great. The Day of the Dead skull is on the bottle bottom as well on top and label. The label top has an A G for Alex Gonzales with drum sticks in between the A G. The bottle neck is wider at the top and tapers down to the bottle body. Nice wooden case tastefully displays and protects the bottle. This is a true small batch brand. Only available in a few states. I order it in from CA. The barrels are new French and American oak.
