This looks like a reposado, but smells like an extra añejo. Aroma of dried fruit, butter and strong vanilla. Flavor is vanilla and white chocolate. Finish is quite dry. This is a bit heavy-handed for a reposado.

Strong aroma of white chocolate and butter with hint of dried apricot. Chocolate finish but not much else in the mouth. If the point of this project is to highlight the agaves from 5 regions, they were sadly not represented.

Penta Reposado ($135 @ Sip Tequila) A rich repsoado that borders on an Anjeo. Carmel, vanilla, cooked agave dominate. Some baking spice heat and citrus round out the palate. The mouthfeel was thin and the overall experience was disappointing given the price point.
