I liked this a lot more than I thought I would….I’m not an Añejo guy but this has a nice balance and appropriate finish. Fucking great packaging.

Of all the product Casa Dragones produces, this is by far the most reasonable. Still pricey. Column & Diffuser with some nice barrel notes.

Aroma is strongly anise, taste is smooth, little bit of heat at the tail-end. Still overpriced.

Got this as a gift. Wanted to like it but it’s over priced diffuser tequila.

Overall, it’s not a bad anejo. Definitely oak-bourbon-spice flavor and finish. I’m more of a barrel aged fan with my tequilas so I don’t mind this one. It’s a pretty decent chunk of change price wise and I agree with some of the other reviews. There’s a bunch of other good barrel aged tequilas out there that don’t cost as much. HOWEVER, if you find yourself with an opportunity to try this, don’t pass it up.

Scent: somewhat floral notes and subtle honey. Very smooth taste all around. Hints of oak and subtle hint of honey.

very light, but noticable burbon barrel flavor. extremely smooth. I like it and would drink it again, but others are more favorite. $99/bottle

I loved this when I first had it. I still enjoy it actually (but view it from a tasting perspective as more of a whiskey) I thought it was totally delicious and nuanced. It’s gone really nice barrel notes, and is super smooth as well as looking awesome. The dark bottle is gorgeous! I remember recommending this to people and giving it as a gift (that’s how much I liked it!) and they liked it too! Now I’ve had to redefine it in a way. Now that my understanding of tequila has changed. This is still a nice alcohol to drink, but wouldn’t be what I recommend or gift to anyone.

Wow. So incredibly smooth. I tasted this back to back with clase azul gold and this was more citrus in aroma, mild flavor, not nearly as oak and vanilla as many anejo. It was almost more repo like. I’m guessing not aged very long or the barrels it’s aged in aren’t very old. The finish was amazing. Very clean and smooth. I enjoyed it a lot but if you like spice probably not for you.

Very sweet nose and palate. A lot of caramel, vanilla and butterscotch. The agave sometimes gets lost in the mix. Kind of overpriced for my liking.

Just like many others mentioned here it’s a good tequila but for the price I would absolutely not recommend it as you can find much better options. Fairly think but pleasant on the nose, very fruity, i sense blackberries. Flavor continues in the same manner and somewhat thin with a subtle tingle at the end. Good but would not spend that much money on it again.

I love the tobacco flavors, but wouldn't pay that much, much better ones out there.

Citrus aroma with notes of sweet roasted agave has a soft and smooth flow with very little tiny hints of vanilla and some sort of spice

Classic clean agave characters. It fall short for the category. For an Anejo style I want more barrel aged notes of spice, vanilla and such. While pleasant overall it misses the mark for this style.
