NOM 1614 | Softly sweet, almost like a sugar cookie as in savory. Fun example of the nose not matching the palate. A sweet profile without being very fruity - notes of sweet cooked agave, honey, a hint of basil, and limestone.
NOM 1522 | Aroma is distinct with pepper and sour melon. Mouthfeel is a little thin. White pepper and raw agave with a little bubblegum overlay. Short-ish finish.
NOM 1614 | TMM additive free blind. Man this one was interesting to me. Little bit of sweetness on the nose but I was getting play-doh which was unique. Easy going palate with a lingering finish
TMM additive free blanco blind tasting kit. Aroma: orange, nutmeg, clove, earth, herbal Flavor: cooked agave, vanilla, cream, citrus Finish: short and the texture is soft
Tasted blind. A little musty and grassy on the nose, with a light cooked agave flavor and creamy mouth. Extra points for value.
tmm blind tasting apr 2024 i found this tequila to be a little bland. i noted hints of chocolate, some alcohol, sweet, rootbeer? nose very subtle. it was hard for me to get a lot from the nose. at first, the palate was bitter. then it softened but there wasn't a lot going on.
NOM 1614 | Lacks complexity, but i do appreciate the agave taste that comes through. Alcohol is also prevalent. Solid additive free but not anything exciting to sip on. Would prefer cimarron to sip but this may make a better mixer Blind: This one smells oily. Olives, salt, rosewater, sand. Almost smells like the beach? Love it! Very, VERY crisp on the tongue with a slow warm finish Extremely drinkable, although tough to put my finger on how this stands out. This would be a fantastic recommendation & very versatile tequila.
A solid value for a mixer, with cooked agave and black pepper; quite a bit of heat from the alcohol and pepper. A short finish, but makes a solid ranch water.
NOM 1522 | Tres Agaves is an amazing mixing tequila! It’s also at such a great value price. Highly recommend for any and all tequila cocktails needing a Blanco.
NOM 1614 | This has a subdue agave aroma, flowers, mint, orange, and lemongrass on the nose. Pepper, mint, orange, citrus and lemongrass on flavors. Finish with lots of mint and some agaves, medium to short
NOM 1614 | Aromas: agave, grassy, fruity Taste: agave, grassy, fruity a little spicy Finish: is nice and soft
NOM 1614 | Smooth, agave forward with some pepper, slight harshness on the finish.
NOM 1614 | Nose : cooked agave , mint , cinammon , floral , clay Taste : cooked agave , vegetal , cinnamon , slight minerality , earthy , nice sweet subtle finish . Great value tequila .
NOM 1614 | Earth, alcohol, mild brine and touch of mint on the nose. Thin mouthfeel. Nice sweet agave right up front with a buttery-character and a sharp pepper bite deep in the back of the throat. Quick finish. So-so sipper but a solid mixer - especially at this price-point.
NOM 1614 | Aroma: not much aroma; some alcohol Flavour: some sweetness; vegetal; agave; nice mouth feel; peppery at the end Finish: fairly long; peppery; pleasant aftertaste. Buy again: yes, for the price Recommend to a friend: yes Value: average
NOM 1614 | The aroma is good with a mineral creaminess and black pepper. There is a slight alcohol burn with a dash of mint and orange citrus at the end. The flavor has an intense minerality and black pepper at the beginning, then a steep drop off into citrus, grass, and mint. The mineral and black pepper stick to the tongue after swallowing but I get the citrus, mint, and grass along the edge of the tongue as I exhale. Overall, pretty good. Not thrilling, but nice.
NOM 1614 | Agave, pepper, citrus and alcohol. There isn’t much sweetness but I’m enjoying it more and more. I would recommend it over other low budget tequilas which are supposed to be addictive free and I found them overly sweet for my taste. I highly recommended as a bargain option for mixing and slow sipping.
For the price, it can't be beat! $30 and it's clean agave and grass with some grapefruit notes. the palate is equally clean with a smooth peppery finish.
NOM 1614 | Great budget-friendly tequila. Smooth and perfect for mixing. Great value for a quality product.
Agave and Slight alcohol nose, nice agave and peppery taste. decent burn. I like the organic and additive free nature. would buy again.
strong agave notes and mixed pepper spices
The smell is mostly agave with hints of citrus, pear, and mint, while the taste is pleasant notes of papper and grassy vegetal.
NOM 1614 | So on the nose it’s bright, lemon, mint, clean, mineral, maybe some vegetal in back. Subtle odors. Taste is smooth, lemon pepper bite, grassy, good clean agave. No lingering bitterness. For the price it really is a very good non additive juice. Sipped neat at room temp or mixed into a favorite cocktail the Organic Blanco out of 1614 is worth every penny. Grab a bottle or two.
NOM 1614 | Aroma: prominent alcohol scent with light caramel sweetness and agave Taste : mostly sweet not really any particular sweetness though maybe a little bit of peppery notes maybe some sort of mineral Finish: alcohol finish with slight sweet linger With a price of 23 dollars it’s a decent shot tequila, an ok sipper, and a good mixer
