Agave forward nose, lured me in with a very soft profile. Flavour is good but not great, it hasn’t veered off the path of tequila but the finish is hot and dirty and lingers a bit too long for my taste. Overall a decent Tequila, the bottle is marvellous and the product is approachable.

Striking bottle. Strike out tequila.

A little harsh, their version of a Cristalino. Not a fan of stripping the color and flavors from an Anejo. One of the prettiest bottles though.

Lemony, not too much flavour, bad finish

Really bad, normally I don’t give bad ratings, this tastes like mouthwash and dirt

Have you ever wished there was agave flavoured toothpaste? Then it may be time for you to experience the next best thing! Nose: colgate Body: crest Finish: gently cooked agave with long lingering notes of crest cavity protection This should come in a big squeezy tube rather than a heart covered in tin foil.

I taste okay and a little Smokey. Not very smooth but still not rough. Very little kick at the end. I personally think it’s over priced for the taste and smoothness. Won’t buy again

Aroma: cherry, vanilla, sherry, smoke Flavor: tobacco, luxardo cherry Finish: alcohol lingers in the mouth, but not in the throat Cherry isn’t a favorite flavor of mine because it always reminds me of medicine I had to take as a child, but my husband is a big fan of cherry, and he really likes the flavor—especially with the tobacco notes alongside. I like the viscosity of this though—not syrupy at all. The bottle looks the same as the red heart extra anejo (slight difference in the silver pattern), and I hate it, but the price was right to make it worth a try. Edit: the app recast my review under the wrong bottle. I was not reviewing the Opal—this review was for a regular anejo, but my review got filed here instead of accepting my addition of a new bottle.

Normally I steer away from the Tequilas in the 'foofy bottles' but this was marked down at Costco to $27 on clearance. this is not a tequila drinkers tequila. This is something you give as a gift to somebody who doesn't like tequila and wants something very sweet and 'not tequila like' tasting. a friend of mine asked me if she could have the bottle after I was finished with it, I may just give it to her with some tequila in it...
