Roasted agave, oak, vanilla, and caramel on the nose, along with a bit of earth and fruit. After opening up, notes of butter and cherries appear. The taste is very oaky and spicy, but you can still taste the agave. White and black pepper, vanilla, and caramel, as well as a bitter, astringent quality that reminds me of orange rind. It also is a tad vegetal and earthy, and has some of the fruit from the aroma. The butter and cherry notes are also present in the flavor after letting it breathe. The finish is spicy with a sweet fade.
