Thanks Adrianne and Paul! A nice surprise. This one is pretty good. From aroma to finish it’s solid. Aroma is nice and light with some agave and normal barrel flavors. The taste is good with agave and light sweetness. I like the pepper on the finish.

Though allowing this to rest for fifteen minutes after opening and pouring, the aroma remains dominated by caramel intertwined with overpowering oak, prominent ethyl that scathes the nostrils, cedar, a hint of brine, and light whiskey. On the palate, I immediately perceive a near horrid medicinal caramel cough syrup flavor, accompanied by oak, light salinity, palatable peppery alcohol, baking spice, and faint orange tang. These initial overpowering notes obscure any significant traces of readily identifiable cooked agave for me. The finish trails with peppery alcohol and a persistent medicinal caramel that slightly induces salivation, accompanied by watered-down toffee, a faint lactic hint and light cooked agave with a prune note that is finally recognized.

Pleasantly surprised with this one. Not picking up any additives in the taste. A little sweetness, easy finish. A good reminder to not judge a book by its cover.

Pecans and light vanilla on the nose. Sweet agave and light cherry-vanilla flavor with some wood. Good finish. I’m really liking this anejo the more I drink it.

Silly name, but a pretty sippable tequila with a decent nose and taste. B-
