Mexican 38% abv. version, lote: LREF2190723, bottled on 23-08-2023, tasted on 11-4-23. Color: although it is a blanco it is a tad yellow. Aroma: a hint of cooked agave, black pepper, chili sensation, slightly earthy, after 20 minutes in the glass a wood note emerges and it becomes quite sweet, but not from agave. Palate: cotton sugar with wood note, anise sensation that doesn’t feel natural, touch of vanilla, the palate is really unique, not in a pleasant way. Cloying. Finish is short to medium, cotton candy, light black pepper, almost no agave aroma or flavor.
