Nose is awesome, buttery, agave, brown sugar, caramel, vanilla, beautiful barrel essence, on pallet, more of same, creamy, chocolate, just pure sweetness, not overly done, just right.
Beautiful sweet nose. Full of barrel spices. Oak, vanilla and caramel really come through. Cinnamon and nutmeg. The taste gives plenty of barrel notes. Oak and caramel with chocolate, cinnamon and vanilla. I get bananas and cherries. Nice oily finish.
Nose: vanilla/ caramel/ sweet agave cooked/ butter / banana/ pear/ peach/ tangerine/ spearmint/ tea / floral / baking spice / chocolate/ maple syrup/ hazelnut/ honey / cream soda Taste: vanilla/ sweet agave cooked / oak/ caramel/ earth / butter / banana / pear / tobacco/ lime / orange peel / peppermint/ tea / lemongrass / baking spice / maple/ chocolate/ hazelnut/ cream soda Finish: medium viscosity mouthfeel / smooth luxurious palate coating texture/ lingering vanilla, agave, and peppermint notes twist and turn on the roller coaster that was previously your palate. The spicy hint of tobacco and bittersweet earth notes stay on for a while. This extra anejo is the kings crown 7 year edition. This is a very good experience but most memorable is how many bold flavors and aromas come from this 40% abv bottle. There’s some balance but the flavors all fire off like firecrackers leaving no specific unified flavor. Very good, if just a bit wild.
Caramel, oak, agave and cherry aroma. Pepper, spice, cherry, agave flavor. Smooth spicy finish. Unheralded brand!
Caramel and vanilla on the nose. Agave is very subtle but not surprising for a 7yr. Little heat on the finish. Palate is nice but not sensing the agave coming through. Barrel is definitely pronounced here.
Chocolate, berry, whisky, and cinnamon highlight this affordable option for a 7 year XA!
2016. really enjoyed the entire suerte lineup, and this XA was probably my favorite of the 4 expressions. I didn't take detailed notes, and we finished all of them, so I'm going from memory
Sweet and delicious. Dessert like — crème brûlée, caramel, butterscotch, cooked agave… Very clean. Extremely balanced for a 7yr, the oak is very present but not overpowering.
This Suerte crown is delicious. It reminds me of Fall in New England with apple pie spice and maple syrup. It has cooked agave throughout with cherry and pear notes on the front of the palate. Butterscotch and vanilla on the middle of the tongue. And maple, honey and leather on the finish. Its quite exquisite for the price point. Another tequila done right.
Rated Blind. Cooked agave, oak, subtle sweetness, cinnamon, vanilla, very well balanced.
Rated blind. Cooked agave, toasted oak, berries. Well rounded.
if there was ever an extra anejo that absolutely sold Mexico, tequila, spice, and luxury, it's this.
Wow! This blew me away. Carmel, oak, butterscotch, cinnamon, vanilla, cooked agave, earth... near-perfect sipper.
Aroma of cooked agave and floral notes...really nice. Sweet flavor of caramel and vanilla followed by a subtle, peppery spice. Noticeably tannic on the tongue. The finish is medium length. Tasted this side-by-side with Rey Sol and Gran Reserva de Don Alberto. The Suerte Crown was my clear favorite. A 7-year XA that has the fruit and sweetness of an XA but still retains freshness with cooked agave and floral notes. 03-29-2018
Mmmm….mmmm. Warming n sweet.
I like Blanco better but would say it’s a very good Anejo
Butterscotch, vanilla, and cinnamon on the nose. Taste, carmel macchiato. Deep color, but a little lighter, then expected for 7 years. still get the agave all around as well. I got it for $90. Great value!
Aroma - barrel notes of fruit (cherry and grape) oak. Cinnamon Flavor - oily, vanilla, oak, Finish - pepper, earth, wood, good! Well made!
Tried this as a finisher at a tasting. On the nose: complex, the barrel notes come through very strong. Almost no agave. Oak and vanilla on the palate, with a lingering sweet finish. I tend to like blanco and repos more This would be great for a bourbon drinker, but it’s still delicious.
This is a great tasting and very affordable extra anejo. The aroma nice and inviting, with a good balance of agave with caramel and vanilla. There's a really nice cooked agave upfront and then the oak comes through in the finish with a hint of vanilla. Overall this is a great sipper and you really get a great full bodied tequila for a great price.
Really enjoyed this 7 year XA. Surprisingly well-balanced for being aged for 7 years. A really great enjoyable sipper. Nose: cook the agave with tons of barrel notes on this one. Vanilla, caramel, oak, cinnamon, butterscotch, baking, spices, and even some notes of cherry. Palate: The nose really transferred over to the palate on this one. Cooked agave and again lots of barrel notes. Caramel, vanilla, oak, butterscotch, cinnamon, baking, spices, whiskey, bits of cherry and even chocolate. A very well rounded 7 year XA at a very good price point. A definite must try.
Aroma: Tons of Caramel, Oak, Vanilla, Almond, Macadamia Nut, not much Agave, much more Bourbon like Palate: Some on the Palate with hints of Cooked agave, nice Baking spices, long finish, big body
Aromas: oak, agave, caramel, vanilla, cinnamon Taste: agave, oak, fruity, cinnamon, Finish : smooth, fruity and little peppery
Bottle: Batch No. XA270222 Appearance: Dark maple Full review pending…

A very solid extra Anejo from Suerte. The aroma is sensational! The taste and finish are both OK for me a little bit too sweet for my taste.
