This has a dark color, but the aromas are very muted. I get a lot of raisin and dried fruit aromas. (Rated blind.)

This extremely smooth extra-aged tequila has notes of agave, oak, cherry, honey, and a touch of smoke. The beautiful bottle is hand painted by local artisans, no two are alike. Very nice after-dinner sipper. Glad a friend picked up a bottle for me in Mexico!

Deep bronze color. Nose: Red ripe fruit. Subtle smokey oak, vanilla and spice, a hint of earthiness. Flavor: Creamy vanilla, cinnamon and cloves, jammy round fruit notes, balanced oak and medium pepper. Finish: Some bourbon influence, silky mouth feel and lingering light pepper. An after dinner type of tequila.

Lote: L003 17, bottled on July 2017, blue alebrije bottle. Color: brown. Aroma: cooked agave, slightly acidic, wood notes, citrus, cinnamon, butterscotch, after 30 minutes in the glass I can smell intense cooked agave sweetness literally when it is still cooling down in the oven. Very good balance between agave sweetness, citrus and spices. Palate: sweet cooked agave, cinnamon, light wood notes that is not astringent, butterscotch. Finish is medium to long, sweet cooked agave lingers on. It lack more citrus or mint notes to keep it fresh.

It has a fairly strong oak aroma, with slight notes of vanilla and alcohol. The taste was of heavy oak, but finished decently smooth.

NOM 1122 Coleccion 2020 Nose: sherry, brown sugar, cinnamon, roasted nuts. Agave is buried. Flavor: plum, brown sugar, agave, pepper Finish: smooth with some lingering heat Not sure how to rate value; paid $190, but it’s a limited release only available in Mexico (apparently).

Such a wonderful Extra Anejo. The nose smells like dessert cooking in the kitchen. The flavor is absolutely delicious. Cherry, vanilla, plum and oak... plus so much more. Agave is still present after being rested for so long. This bottle has converted many of my whiskey drinking friends to drink more agave. So wonderful!

This was a prezzie and the bottle is pink with hand painted tigers on it so we are inclined to like. Bought in Mexico. Pretty forward taste that quickly loses its roar. Skinny kitty with a cold. PS NOM1565, which we could not find on the Internet.
