Herradura Reposados Coleccion de la casa We've had these for several years and decided to revisit because we've never rated them Port cask 2016 rested 11 mos in medium-char oak casks for 11 mos, then transferred to vintage port casks from the douro valley, portugal for 2 more months (my question = why is this not considered anejo? perhaps the casks they use are larger than 600 liters) Nose is quite pleasant caramel, tropical fruit, barrel spices Palate some oak, caramel, cinnamon, sweet, dried cherries Sweet Dry finish Well-balanced and surprisingly quite good

I’m so happy that Herradura gave the port cask a second go, the first was amazing and this is even better. Warm inviting nose has oodles of agave and warm butterscotch. The flavour is agave forward and balanced between sweet and boozy as it lingers on your back palette, this has a lot going on! If you can find this at retail I recommend stocking up, it’s delightful.

Dark golden hue. Great nose. Barrel spices, butterscotch, aged agave, over ripe berries, plum, olives and a little pecorino cheese. Tingly mouth sensation of cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla, citrus,,butterscotch and some pepper heat. Nice round mouth feel. Slightly nutty. Light oak as well. Finishes with pepper and bittersweet notes. A very balanced and creamy finish.

A rare find at our local Latin American restaurant! Aroma - barrel spices, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg Flavor - complex, roast agave, oak, pepper, cinnamon, leather, agave turns a little sweeter at the end Finish - spicy in a good way, flavors lingers with warmth Impressed by this expression

Love everything about the smell. Great flavour but a bit boozy rather than smooth.
