NOM 1477, Mexican 40% abv. version, no lot codes, marbete is from 2007, tasted on 3-30-24. Color: yellow. Aroma: cooked agave, light acidity, hint of citrus, hint of agave fibers, after 20 minutes in the glass the citrus aroma becomes more intense and an unnatural sweet aroma emerges. Palate: confirms aromas perceived, sweetness that seems unnatural is quite intense and impregnating. Light acidity. Finish is medium, hint of citrus, hint of cooked agave, sugar syrup sweetness is cloying and persists.
