Ok, I don’t like cristalinos. I like this. It doesn’t have any agave on the palette but it’s charming in it s own right with loads of cherry and chocolate rolling around. Great finish, turns a tad bitter after a couple minutes but hits keep drinking.

The aroma and flavor of the anejo are gone, along with the color. I’m not getting any agave. I prefer the non-filtered version over this.

Scored higher as I love the mix of agave, cherries and light caramel sweetness on the palate I could sip on this juicy baby all day poolside Suggested food pairing: vanilla ice cream or chocolate cake to recreate a black Forrest cake

I really enjoy the aroma on this tequila very agave forward. The flavour falls flat for me though. Easy finish. Still prefer maestro dobel.

Not much of a nose. But I like the flavour. It’s sweetly nondescript - but the perfect thing for a hangover day or someone who’s not terribly adventurous being harangued into trying tequila by a half-cut and naturally un-self-aware server.
