Fantastic XA! Right up there with the SB and the snake head and tail! I actually think it's better! More complex profile. Future treasure bottle!

Nothing but love for this tequila, it doesn’t really have much semblance of agave left but it’s a really great example of barrel manipulation. Whiskey drinkers will swoon over this.

Strong aroma but not sharp. I get a lot of caramel with hints of clay, almond and very subtle agave. The flavor is very typical Crotalo. It's very strong and sharp upfront. Very peppery. I get a bit of caramel but the big initial flavor kind of kills some of the flavor.

Initial aroma of oak with earth/clay following and then a finish of fruit (cherry) and mild agave notes. Big pepper and spice flavor with an immediate attack but fairly quick die-off. Moderate finish with lingering spice.

357 is significantly different from the 5 year snake tail XA. The aroma is more pronounced with caramel, vanilla, spice, oak, and a hint of cherry. On the palate the sweetness of the French oak is very present giving way to some oak bitterness, and then a lingering spicy sweet finish.

The nose is full butterscotch and barrel. The palette is not my fav, not very balanced was a bit dry for my liking. But if heavily barrelled XA is your thing I think you will love this.

First impressions is this might taste better with a cigar. Aroma is a little off putting. Taste isn't bad. This is my first blended tequila and for the price I'm not that happy with it. Need to try again

Very strong aroma of Carmel, vanilla with hints of oak, cherry and clay/earth. Light/Med body with strong peppery taste with hints of oak and a very nice finish.
