Sweet with butterscotch and cinnamon notes. Agave comes through nicely. Great smell as well!

Good aroma of vanilla and agave. Sweet butterscotch and agave flavor with a peppery finish. A good tequila at a great price

This Tequila smells just wonderful! A really nice mix of cooked agave, oak, caramel, cinnamon, and a subtle hint of cherry. The taste is nice too with a very pleasant oak flavour. The finish brings out a lot of cooked agave on top of the oak and sits well in the mouth. This is exactly what I think of when I think "Reposado" and the characteristics I would expect from barrel ageing. It's decently dark so I imagine it has been aged towards the longer limit of a Reposado. One of the first proper Tequilas I was introduced to and I give it credit for getting me into Tequila! It has a distinct aroma/flavour that I could pick out every time, and I love it! Bought in Arandas, Jalisco for about 400 Peso. NOM 1140

Not as viscous as the blanco this has some bitterness throughout that leaves this as very one note from first sip through the finish. Some sweetness develops after sitting for a few minutes in the glass. The things I like about the blanco are missing here.

Round spicy agave nose. A little fruity and floral. Oily in the mouth. Nice barrel spices and toffee with the agave, and a touch of white pepper. Solid pleasing medium long finish...

Tried again up against older round bottles from 2002, 2004 and 2008. This bottle from 2014 clearly is lacking flavours and finish from the older style juice...
