All that Herradura bubble gum with a long, sweet finish! This might be the best tequila to come out of that distillery!!

Mexican 38% abv. version, marbete is from 2010, it has a white round sticker stating Edición Limitada and red color No. 119063, tasted on 4-4-24. Color: yellow. Aroma: hint of sweet cooked agave, light acidity, hint of citrus, light earthiness, light vanilla, light wood note. The wood note becomes more intense as time goes by and becomes creamy & buttery. Palate: confirms aromas perceived, good sweet & sour balance, creamy & buttery. Finish is medium to medium long, light cooked agave, vanilla, hint of earthiness, creamy and buttery sensation persists.

Menthol and Whisky notes on the nose. Bubblegum and light oak on the palate. Fantastic smooth finish. Cool unicorn bottle that is only sold at the distillery!

With a very strong agave presence on the nose I wasn't expecting the smooth finish. Purchased at Casa Herradura it is only available in Jalisco. Am told that this is a favorite among locals in Tequila town favoring a full bodied agave taste. It is that.
