Mexican 40% abv. version, marbete is from 2011, tasted on 12-28-23. Color: light yellow to yellow. It has white waxy flaky residue floating inside the bottle. Aroma: raw agave, vanilla, intense wood note that is impregnating, light fruit sweetness, slightly acidic. After 30 minutes in the glass it becomes slightly briny. Palate: confirms aromas perceived, acidic and slightly fruity, wood note is quite intense. Finish is medium to medium long, raw agave, green vegetal notes with acidic and wood notes persist.
