I drank this when it was first introduced, 2014-2015ish? when I was sipping sweet tequila, such as clase azul and dos artes. fast forward to 2022 and i can no longer drink these kinds of tequila. they taste too artificially sweet.

Way too sweet. Does not taste natural at all. This is made for people who don’t like tequila. I definitely do not recommend this.

If you like Clase Azul, you'll like this better, but neither has a flavor profile that can be obtained purely from traditional processes. Even if a bottle says 100% agave, they are still allowed to add up to 1% of other additives. This is engineered for the American market and comes off almost as a liqueur. Put it in your margaritas and you won't have to use sweetener, but if you want authentic tequila, look elsewhere.
