Nose is great - fruit, apricot, berries, barrel spice, whiskey, caramel. Palate is nice, not as pronounced as the nose - some fruit and maple with some dry notes. Not sure what type of barrels this was aged in - wondering if sherry or cognac? Gorgeous legs, nice viscosity. I don't get a lot of agave, but it's a very enjoyable sipper. Finish is warm and long with some maple and whiskey notes lingering onto a nice, warm heat at the end

Sherry cask imparts a great red fruit profile to this tequila. A forward maple flavor that is present throughout. Great from the start, but also benefits from opening up over 30-45 minutes.

The sherry wood gives this tequila a very cognac-like aroma. The body is wonderful, with spice and a very distinct smoked agave flavor (most likely from the bourbon barrel it's aged in). The finish is very sweet, with traces of honey and a slight hint of caramel.
