we got a flight of T1 back in 2014. really like all of these expressions. looking back at my notes re. the blanco: agave pepper anise nice warm finish bot too hot. I like this! Oops I meant to rate the t1 blanco selecto but can't delete my rating

Earthy, agave and a vegetal nose. Sweet, but overpowering scent. Cooked agave and pepper on the palate. Nice, long finish. You can keep grabbing flavors for several minutes. Once this opened up, i got some nice smokiness to it.

A great example of a “earthy” tequila, tons of vegetal notes to go with medium agave sweetness. German is a legit tequila maker, you should expect(and receive) excellence in all his projects.

Ultrafino is the perfect name for this one. Soft nose with a little less of the alcohol a typical Blanco has. Great roasted agave flavor. Could use a little more pepper on the backend and finish.

Lots of pepper and a long finish. A good option if you like a spicy blanco.

Aroma is a great combination of ripe fruit and vegetation. Strong agave flavor along with peppermint and hot spice. The finish is long and warm but not hot. Very good blanco.

Aroma: Vegetal, fruity and slightly medicinal. Flavor: The agave is very prevalent with a subtle hint if mint. Finish: Smooth and long finish. Value: This is a pretty good blanco for the value. Although there are better options for just a little more this is still a solid tequila.

Lote: 97t1B14A, acquired aprox. in 2014. Aroma: intense sweet cooked agave, resinous sweetness, alcohol sensation is very low, sweet anise. Palate: intense sweet cooked agave, thick mouthfeel, anise, white pepper spiciness, very good sweet & sour balance. Finish is medium to long, resinous sweet cooked agave persists.

Pleasant natural, earthy aroma. Flavor is simple, yet delicious, with agave and earthiness. The name is accurate of the finish, ultra fine.

Tasted this in a non-optimal setting (taco bar in a rocks glass). Interesting and unique aroma. Almost like a different species of agave. Good mouth feel but flavors seemed muted. This brand has a good reputation so I'll try it again another day.

Review #218 - t1 Tequila Uno Blanco - Ultra Fino

For tequila drinkers, the name German Gonzalez is synonymous with quality tequilas. As a Master Distiller, he has created some gems over the years with Chinaco...one of the first premium brands ever imported into the US.
