LTHQL21A03 40% Warming initial nasal impact. Aroma: caramel, cooked agave, honey, baking spice, cinnamon Light buttery mouthfeel with sufficient alcohol. Flavor: caramel, cooked agave, baking spice, pepper, light vanilla. Medium finish. Nothing too complex, but the price point is excellent (although I received mine as a gift). 7/10 points for value

Cooked agave, caramel and cinnamon on the nose. A nice round, sweet vanilla. Definitely alot of agave on the palate, a nice spiciness, definitely the cinnamon and vanilla coming through. It’s very rounded and nicely sweet. Very good for an every day sipper.

Sweet floral aroma with some honeysuckle there for me. Taste is also somewhat sweet with cooked agave and barrel notes coming through. Fairly long finish with some heat. Overall not really complex but a fantastic value and will definitely drink again.

Great budget Anejo. Not overly complex but a real nice bargain sipper. I enjoy it. Definitely recommend grabbing a bottle. First one I reach for when sipping on the patio.

Big punch of oak. I prefer an agave forward product even in the aged expressions. Good value, but not quite a fit for my taste

Nose: Caramel, ripe agave, dried fruit (prune?), earthy notes, pungent fruit aroma and a hint of smokiness. Nice baking spice pop. Flavor: Vibrant full fruity start. Light wood notes with butterscotch, vanilla, and pepper. Nice mouth feel to this one, although not terribly viscous. Finish: Medium long pleasant finish of nuts, pepper and a non offensive bitterness. Footnote: This is the Mexican 36% release costing $253 pesos. Unbelievable quality value añejo. It gained a few rating’s points on value.

This is the Mexico version (38%). The aroma and flavors of wood, agave, citrus and pepper are understated. A medium finish with a modest pepper bite. Though the flavors are subtle they complement each other beautifully It's smooth, pleasant and thoroughly enjoyable. At about $18 US, this was well worth it.

Nothing amazing, nothing awful. Simple caramel, agave, whiskey nose and flavor. There is some butterscotch in the flavor as well. Pretty lackluster finish (although nothing offensive) perhaps due to the lower ABV 36%. But hey—for $300mx a great bargain if you just need a simple añejo.

I might need to visit this again, on the nose I get agave, Oak, cinnamon baked spices, caramel, vanilla ,I tasted a little bit more oak than agave. Over all it’s a good anejo and especially for the price.

Fantastic Añejo, especially for the price! Right out of the freshly opened bottle, it was a little hotter and more oaky than I was expecting. I let it rest for 2 weeks and it’s a completely different animal. Thick, viscous mouth feel, nice rich caramelized agave, and just a hint of oak to balance it out. Spectacular.

Spice, dried fruit, agave and oak flavors. Picked it up at El Buho for dirt cheap which added many points. Excellent añejo for the price.

Quite a delicious Anejo... Cinnamon & nutmeg on the nose which follows through the flavor.. nice barrel presence throughout.. Worth the pick up, and a bargain @ $35 for this treat if you can get your hands on it.
