Crafty looking bottles. Would recommend for the collection, but not for the sipper. Too much alcohol on the nose, and not enough complexity. Would be fine for mass made margaritas, but nothing top shelf here.

Free sample. Product of NOM 1467, same place as the older Cabo Wabo that I liked so much. At first, nothing stood out, which isn't necessarily a bad thing...as the finish lingered, I started to appreciate it more. Along with agave, it is definitely clean and peppery (I used to think peppery was just a nice way of saying that there is an alcohol burn, but I've grown to realize that a peppery profile is quite enjoyable - and in my mind a characteristic of a classic tequila). To me this blanco is a good tasting classic tequila that is priced very well. The whole Luchador theme is a little quirky, but a fun play on a strong Mexican cultural icon.

Not awful, not great, but not recommended unless you want the luchador bottles for your collection.

Super smooth, mild smell not bad at all. Overall really nice, I wish it had more taste
