Not a big nose to me, though pleasing. Some applesauce notes. A little cinnamon and sawdust. Flavor was a little more vibrant as it opened up. Some spices, subtle agave and oak. Big whisky flavors, which really aren’t my thing. Balanced finish with sufficient pepper heat and caramel. Kind of grew on me as it sat awhile.

Baked agave and oak dominate the aroma and flavor profile, with hints of caramel and baked apple. Nice oily mouth feel that leads to a lingering and pleasant finish

Mexican 35% abv. version, LOTE NR05050T09, marbete is from year 2018, tasted on 12-3-23. Color: light yellow: Aroma: light sweet cooked agave, slightly citrus, light resinous sweetness, a hint of vanilla, wood note is not noticeable, light black pepper. After 20 minutes in the glass the wood note becomes noticeable. Palate: confirms aromas perceived but quite subtle on the palate due to watered down abv. Finish is medium, a hint of sweet cooked agave with light vanilla and light wood notes persist.

Nice straw color with thickness to the glass. Smooth nose not too strong no isopropyl, smells cooked not baked. Good flavor, agave, slight tingle no harsh burn. Coats your mouth, easy drinker so gotta be careful.
