March 2013 bottling. 38% ABV 1 liter bottle $300 pesos Nose: That old school aroma. Round sweet agave. Caramel, faint vanilla and mellow baking spices. A touch of clay. A hint of celery. Flavor: Some oils. Sweet with a dash of bitters. The baking spice has taken on a more dominant role. Enough pepper to balance out the uber sweetness. Some mellow caramel apple notes. Reminds me of other older vintage tequilas. Finish: A short jackrabbit finish. Miravalle picked up a couple of extra points on value - nonetheless a simple, pleasant sip.

Medium amber color in the glass. Aroma of agave, oak and vanilla. Flavor of oak and caramel. Finish didn't last long.
