NOM 1414 | Small sample at event Would recommend for mixing as it’s a fair tasting profile.

Aroma: very light on the nose, hint of dark fruit, not much agave Flavor: oily texture, citrus (mint, peppermint) Finish: short, lacks much agave presence NOM 1414

NOM 1558 | This is the clear bottle from NOM 1558 and not the frosted bottle from NOM 1107. Tequila is light in flavor perhaps guided towards newbie drinkers. Aroma starts with cooked agave, thyme and citrus. Flavor follows the aroma with added sweetness and spices.

NOM 1558 | From start to finish this is a bit of a lackluster tequila. There's not much on the nose but I do get a slightly medicinal note and minimal agave. The flavor follows and almost tastes watered down. It vanishes so quickly that it's hard to pick up any notes. This almost feels like something I'd put in a margarita for someone who hates tequila. There's barely anything to taste here... It's not bad or terrible it just doesn't have much going on.

NOM 1558 | Aroma is full of agave and fruit (distinct cherry notes). Full, oily texture on the glass and the tongue. The flavor takes a moment to appear then is full of peppermint with just a slight softening of fruit. The finish is relatively short and never moves beyond the tongue and palate. Unremarkable.

NOM 1414 Let it breathe for 15 minutes and it opens up well, gets better after every sip!

Review #247 - Luna Nueva Silver Tequila Blanco

My first experience with any expression of the Luna Nueva line. The distribution makes it a little hard to come by for most of the nation, but it can be found and shipped nationwide at Bayway World of Liquor.
