Nose: Initial nosing presents some light oak. As it opens up, vanilla, agave, “Juicy Fruit” - like spices and fruit. Flavors: The nose promised big fruit. My first impression, however is some pepper and bitterness. Somewhat overpowers the fruit, spices and agave. Same folks that make Gran Maracame. But their bargain cousin.... At $380 pesos (about $20 US dollars on 5/16/2018) it is a good value, but not in the same league as GM.

Excellent price/quality relationship. Has a nutty flavour that reminds me of almonds. For the price almost unbeatable.

It took a long time for me to finish this bottle. I always drink my Anejo neat, but this ended up as a margarita mixer in the end.

Smooth on the nose and crisp on the tongue...finishes with notes of cinnamon that are spectacular.
