Walks like crème brûlée, talks like crème brûlée, must be made of liquified crème brûlée!!! Really delicious, I haven’t had it in years and it’s amazing in every way!

For fans of VERY aged tequilas, this may be a great choice. However, it's gone too far for my preferences.

Lote: TA8587, bottled on 19-05-2022. Color: yellow to dark yellow. Aroma: light cooked agave, vanilla, slightly herbaceous, alcohol sensation is medium high and maybe this is why is feels fresh, anise, oak wood, 30 minutes later in the glass the vanilla sweetness becomes more intense and slightly cloying, also becomes more herbaceous. Palate: vanilla and oak wood, butterscotch, bitter at the end and sweetness feels unnatural. Finish is medium to medium long, unnatural vanilla notes that are slightly cloying persist.

Nose is bursting with sherry, nice fruit and tobacco. On the palette you get some initial dry/bitterness and then a long slightly sweet finish. Lovely fruitcake notes all the way through.

Just re rated this and was surprised by my initial low rating. Lots of agave on the nose despite the 5yr age, sweetness from the sherry cask but not overpowering. Little light on the palate but good flavour. Nice lingering finish.

Only had a taste so I cannot evaluate the taste fully. It is clearly a bomb for the senses with fruit oak and agave coming through in a balanced way. My rating may even go higher with a full pour at some later date.

I don't know how much better a Tequila can be. I have gone to El Agave in San Diego for the past 6 years and this is always the first and last Tequila I will drink there

To my pallet this Tequila hit a cord. I have the 10 year variety and a word I use to describe it is delicious. Heavy oak presence and not a lot of agave left to pull out. I love XA's and this spoke to me. If you are not an XA fan, you may not care for this Tequila.
