Very vegetal, herbal nose. Hints of pickling brine. Very green smell. Some agave sweetness, but black pepper and jalapeño dominate; with a whisper of cilantro. Very different taste profile.

This Michoacán distilled blanco is quite flavorful with an astringent feel in the mouth that is different from most Jalisco distilleries. Green agave with some slight sweetness this very clean tasting blanco has a nice finish dominated by agave and some alcohol. If you can appreciate the regional terrior of tequila you owe it to yourself to try this. Bottle is dated Dec 2013.
