Disappointing after the Blanco, this doesn't feel manipulated in the mouth but certainly smells and tastes that way. I totally agree with another rating that calls this a vanilla bomb, as it is. Not at all what was expected after the Blanco and prior rated Añejo. Sad

Mexico 38%. Nuts, vanilla, caramel and cooked agave. Great value

The nose has punch and a lot going on: vanilla, chocolate, peach, cinnamon, agave and a hint of coffee. Flavors are lively as well: agave, almonds, pepper and baking spices. Finishes a touch on the sweet side - but I’m coming back for more.

Mexican 38% abv. version, lote: 17DNEXR1218, bottled on 23-02-2019, tasted on 1-15-24. Color: yellow to dark yellow. Aroma: cooked agave, vanilla, soft creamy wood note, hint of citrus, light orange peel, caramelizad orange. Palate: confirms aromas perceived, good sweet sour and citrus balance. Finish is medium to medium long, hint of cooked agave with caramelizad orange & wood note persists.

Vanilla bomb. Reminded me of 1942 and how easy it is to simply add vanilla extract. Sadly, this was a huge let-down. Please try and convince me French oak played the only role here, because I'd be very surprised.

feel vanilla aroma before drink. at finish, stays human smell but it's not bad. with soda, sweetness and human smell were enhanced. little bit too unique couple with japanese food.

My first tequila bought in MX. Great aroma of agave and bourbon, vanilla flavor, peppery finish that lingers long. Surprising flavors for a repo.

What a finish and taste, some caramel notes without being too much and the agave flavor pours gently with the wood, amazing tequila

This reposado has aromas of creme brulee, vanilla and oak. i could almost smell a hint of choclate too. The first flavor i noted in the taste is a hint of cinnamon that disappeas quickly and transforms into vanilla, oak and subtle almond. It is a pleasant reposado having the flavor notes I like but it will not blow your mind. at the right price I would keep my house stocked with this Don Nacho
