NOM 1115 | NOM 1115 Nose is slightly sweet with a banana leave note. Agave and banana mid palate. Finish is a bit strange. Nothing at first. Then a bit of heat in the throat and then in the cheeks. It’s kinda like a not-cloying, super thin, high alcohol, banana liqueur. But it’s tequila.

Agave, toffee citrus nose with light neutral oak. More oak than the nose presented. Vanilla and medium heat follow. Maple, nutty, warm longish finish.

NOM 1473 | A nice balance with the oak treatment here. I liked the flavor and finish, the aroma was a little light. Agave and toffee flavor with a nice bite, this is a good example of a reposado.

Review #130 - Don Fernando Tequila Reposado

My first try of anything Don Fernando. There's not a lot of info out there on it, but the price was right, so I thought I'd give it a try.
