This old metal label Don Celso añejo tastes so much like the old metal label Espolon añejo. Very solid stuff... both NOM 1440 too.

Light agave on nose, otherwise dominated by oak. Agave more present on entry, but still light. Mid-palate has notes of dark chocolate and cherries, with a peppery finish in the back of the throat. On top of all this is a whiskey oakiness which adds a layer of complexity. Overall a decent sipper, worthy of consideration if you can find it in the $30 range, especially for those who don't care for sweet anejos.
