NOM # 1509 2007 Mexican tax stamp Aroma: Vanilla and nutmeg laced fruitiness. A sharp mineral note with a dusty earthy quality. Some floral presence. Flavor: Bitter almond on entrance. Sweet and creamy, spicy and peppery mid palate. A touch of musty bitterness. Some pleasing fruit undertones. The cinnamon and clove spiciness has some kick.

US distributed 80 proof version. Very light reposado. The interesting flavors in the blanco are muted here in the repo, and it’s picked up some cinnamon and butterscotch. I prefer the blanco but this isn’t bad, and the price is an insane value.
