Good cooked agave aroma at first, then some herbal element like wet grass. Pretty smooth, lacking a strong character. Almost numb aroma, lacking a strong character that qould be really desirable. Shy black pepper taste on tip of the tongue. Some astringency on my palate. Weak finish. Aroma was the better part of this.

Amazing agave off the nose and front palette, something odd happens on the finish that I don’t love but it’s legit for the price.

35% ABV. Triple distilled. Nose: Not a robust nose and it takes a while to open up. Light pepper, cinnamon, and citrus. Slightly floral with earthy agave notes. Flavor: Somewhat spicy, and an oily feel on the palate. Pepper, trace minty essence, and a sweetness that imparts some bitterness on the back of the palate. A kiss of vanilla. Finish: There is some lingering bitterness in the finish, but not to a fault. The triple distillation has tamed this tequila down - making it not too exciting or complex. But it would be good as an entry level tequila for newcomers.

I normally like this tequila, but the last batch I tried contained a defect (heads?) that made it smell terrible. I couldn't get beyond it.

From a blind tasting. Medicinal nose right after pouring that opens up a little after 5 minutes or so, revealing some agave and green pepper. Spicy on entry, the alcohol leaves a nice tongue buzz that fades to some lingering sweetness.

floral clean nose with undertones of agave. easy and nice. spicy, peppery start. not overwhelming but it's presence clear. eases to a slight vibrance of citrus spice that leads you on a long finish. lingers in the chest. soothing feeling not harsh.

Mine is the 40% abv version. Solid day to day Blanco. A nice soft agave and vanilla aroma. Soft agave profile, buzzy and mildly sweet on the tongue. Short finish. 32$ is not a bad bargain around the Mediterranean.

Lote: LD1619A20316, bottled on 19-04-2016. Mexican 35% abv. version. Aroma: light sweet & salty agave, feels thick & oily, herbaceous, green notes, aromas are quite intense considering its low abv. & that it is triple distilled. A whiff of lactic note. Palate: confirms aromas perceived, it doesn’t feel as thick & oily on the palate as on the nose and green & herbaceous notes are more intense on the palate. Finish is medium to medium long, cooked agave notes with a briny sensation persist.

Not bad. Aroma is ok with agave sweetness but also some alcohol. Taste is good while a little thin, with some light agave sweetness and a bit of pepper. Finish is good but short, with some welcome heat and good vibes.

Clean and simple from the extra distillation I assume. Not much aroma. Subtle agave flavor. Stainless steel funk on the finish. Seems a bit of a miss from what I would expect that my assumed target market would want.

Credit to Remy Newland. Once again she's spot on with her profile. Please check out her review. As a 35% ABV spirit this fairs well, but the triple distillation tampers down the nuances that we all come to enjoy. At $23 (Old Town), this is an affordable and versatile blanco. Aroma: Subtle cooked agave, mint, white pepper, and cut grass nested with an air of minerality. As this opens up, there are faint hints of vanilla, cinnamon, anise, roses, pear, and orange peel. Taste: Thin to medium viscosity, some salinity and pepper on the tip of the tongue. Mild cooked agave sweetness with the tiniest bit of mint. Not very complex, which would make this a great mixer. Finish: Medium to long finish. The pepper and cooked agave linger with a slight bitterness. Overall, this is a winner for $23. Enjoyable as a mixer and a daily sipper.

Funny enough I haven’t rated this! Normally an easy recommendation for the uninitiated due to the triple distillation. Still loads of bright agave character on the nose. Finish is a bit lacklustre, but expected for a real bargain gem.

Not as unnecessarily smooth as most triple distilled tequillos, this is distinguishable as another master work from the Orendain fam.

The aroma is sweet, almost smells like it's already a margarita ready to drink. The softest pure Blanco at a great bargain. No stringent aftertaste. Made with traditionally processes. In new white oak aged about 3 months --Ultra premium Platinum. One of the last All-Mexican owned distilleries. Orendain.

One of the better triple distilled Tequilas I’ve had. Agave present on the nose but lacking in flavour slightly due to the triple distillation. Hot finish but that’s what I like!!!
