Tasted at a blind cata of blancos. Others in the field: Siete Leguas and Chinaco. It finished a very weak third.

Aroma: Very light and mild. There's a bit of pepper, raw agave and is slightly medicinal. Wish it was a little more powerful because it's really hard to pick up any notes. Flavor: Mild at the front but builds a bit. There's definitely some mint and pepper but it doesn't feel super complex. Finish: surprisingly the finish is really nice. It's really the only part of this tequila that is bold.

Aroma is discreet and presents agave and vegetal notes along with maybe a bit of anise. Cinnamon spice and a bit of pine or cedar in the flavor with a bitter almond showing up at the end. The finish is relatively short. This is a fine blanco at a reasonable price point. But, like so many others I've tasted lately there is just nothing special here that would differentiate from other middle of the road blancos. 6/22/2017 (vertical tasting)

As a sipper this doesn't meet the mark, as a shooter it does, mixed TBD

Aroma of cooked agave and vegetal. Flavor has pepper and a little agave. Medium finish. Okay as a mixer.

Needs to open in the glass. Minty, a bit if cooked agave. Yeasty, nutty finish. It leaves an odd taste in your mouth.

$13/L for a sippable blanco on the rocks. Great in cocktails but smooth enough to sip chilled or on the rocks.
