An enjoyable reposado. at a reasonable level price. Nice agave, carmel, and baking spice notes with mild creaminess in the mouth.
Nice Reposado.
Nose is Agave, vanilla and pepper. Taste is Agave, pepper, oak and vanilla. The glass was a Chisholm Standard Proof Jarrito
Nose: Sweet cream Vanilla Frosting Honey Taste: Very light with hints of vanilla Mild black pepper Honey Cinnamon Oak Finish: The finish is sweet. I don’t get much complexity other than a it’s a nice mix of honey, oak, frosting and pepper. Conclusion: This tequila is not the greatest, it’s also not terrible. It golden in color with a delicate smell of honey, vanilla and a variety of spices. This tequila has a lighter/medium body comes across somewhat thin on the palate. It presents notes of pepper, cinnamon, honey with hints of oak. IMO this one should be drank neat and by itself as any thing else would completely take away from the overall tequila. At the end of the day, this one is available and mildly priced. I would recommend but it’s not a must have…
NOM 1456 | Lot: 065, bottled on 08-03-2018. Color: light yellow. Aroma: light sweet cooked agave, light vanilla, hay, slightly bitter. Alcohol sensation is medium. Palate: cooked agave, vanilla sweetness, very light wood notes, slightly astringent, earthy. Finish is medium to medium long, cooked agave with sweet & sour balance persist.
Quite disappointed with this one. It tasted quite artificial to me
Love aromatics to finish. The right amount of tannins n oak for me. Memorable.
NOM 1456 | Very peppery at initial kiss and after. Pleasant.
Great on the nose, is like an XA, wood, sweetness. Taste is consistent with the nose, wood, dry fruits, no burn for my palate. Its an excellent sipper!
NOM 1456 | This is one disappointed me, especially after reading so many good reviews by well-respected Tasters. It seemed artificial to me from the nose straight through the palate... additives? Decent caramel, spice & sweet notes, but a weird hint of artificial sweetener taste I couldn’t seem to shake. Tasted next to the Blanco, and I preferred the Blanco. Beautiful bottle... but I probably won’t open it very often. 38% Mexican Duty Free.
Loved it. Can not wait to try the Anejo
excellent shipping tequila

New NOM 1424. Very lemon and butter on the nose. A LOT. Not bad, necessarily, just surprising. Light bodied. Flavor also very lemon with some white pepper. Medium finish. Very interesting repo that will likely be fairly polarizing. Would be killer in a citrus forward cocktail.
