NOM 1455 | Mexican 38% abv. version, lote: LOT180416FJR, bottled on 25-05-2016, tasted on 12-25-23. Color: very light yellow. Aroma: cooked agave with a hint of sweetness, hint of anise, light citrus, slightly mineral, slightly earthy, light black pepper. Palate: confirms aromas perceived, but flavors are quite subtle on the palate, good sweet sour and citrus balance. I smell light soapy aromas through my retronasal. Finish is medium, cooked agave with earthy, mineral and citrus notes persist.
NOM 1455 100 ml with a 2014 marbete. Oak, agave, barrel spice of char, vanilla, caramel all present in a clean sip. Finish is a bit flat holding this back.
