NOM #1079 Hard to read lote info. Perhaps 2008? Aromas: Lots of fruit. Some citrus. Spicy barrel notes. Greenish oak notes. A slightly dusty aroma and light vanilla. Flavor: Pepper and baking spices. Appealing oiliness. The pepper has creeping heat… Agave is still prominent and in abundance. I suspect that the 15 years spent in the bottle has diminished some of the clarity and focus of the original profile. The pepper heat takes on a bitter edge on the finish.
