Not complex. A lot of alcohol flavor
This product exists to get 100% agave into the faces of the masses and I appreciate the reach but that’s where the appreciation ends. The nose is pleasant enough but the flavour and finish are rubbish, tastes like someone used chemicals to make something that resembles tequila.
Nose had slight acetone with some fruit. Taste was light to medium oil, slight acetone taste, tangy. Not high quality, it's no sipper, but ok for mixing.
Had over ice, so that helped. Mainly just agave and pepper with a sharp bite. Inexpensive and mass produced so you know what you are in for.
earth smoke citrus grass a smooth sipping tequila
As my friend Tyler would say, it is what it is.
Mexican 35% abv. versión, lote: L22204S278, bottled on 22-07-2022, tasted on 2-9-24. Aroma: raw agave, quite intense green vegetal note, hint of black pepper, light acidity. Hint of earthiness. Palate: confirms aromas perceived, hint of citrus, ethanol sensation is medium, ends with a hint of bitterness. Finish is medium, light raw agave, green vegetal notes, light acidity and hint of earthy note persists but not too long.
LOT - 0109749894 View: transparent, very brief tears. Aroma: a little astringency like grapefruit peel. Not much more. Taste: a little astringent, reminiscent of the smell of grapefruit peel. Not very expressive, nothing spectacular.
Gives me shivers
Metal and alcohol on the nose. Watery mouthfeel with a minty flavor that’s not entirely unlike mouthwash, but very much like Juicy Fruit. Hardly any finish. Not the worst tequila I’ve had, but I certainly don’t enjoy it.
Nothing special a standard mixing tequila
Some Agave and mint hit, but that chemical aftertaste makes it only good as a mixer. Definitely not for sipping.
Minty
Not impressed at all, the world seems to love this tequila but I’m not sure why. The overall taste is pretty terrible. No distinguishing features with this.
Creamy, peppery, strong bite, very warm; a go-to for mixing but not a sipper for me.
Strong agave aromas, but also of acetone. Sharp and short flavors, definitely taste roasted agave but also taste acetone and bitterness. Tried next to Casamigos and Kirkland and liked this the best. Most agave forward and representative of tequila flavor (even if accomplished through additives). Wouldn’t be mad at it in a marg but definitely not great.
This was the worst. Only bottle I’ve actually drain poured. Bleh!
Just ok, wouldn’t buy again
It’s just not good. It hits you with Mint or something up front but later yeah has good agave I guess. No nose to it for me, but I drank before I sniffed. Like any drink, if it’s not absolute piss, it is better after four or five sips. It’s not terrible but it’s just not good. It’s kinda bad to me. It’s better than a stick to the eye.
Hate it
no smell, mild taste lacks finish
shooter. kinda sweet. medicinal aroma. sharp kinda raunchy probably good in a marg if you want to taste the tequila
citrus, sweet, alcohol, shooter
Started drinking Paloma’s and this mixes well, not a fan of it on its own
