NOM 1110 Nose: An umami aroma - perhaps chorizo. Sweet agave, a little smoke and trace cinnamon. Flavor: The appearance was on the watery side, so I was surprised to have my first sip coat my tongue nicely. Round agave notes, cinnamon and almonds, with a touch of pepper and smoke. Finish is shortish with borderline over the top sweetness. The pepper asserts itself a little more towards the end.

Marbete is from aprox. 2003, Mexican 1 liter 35% abv. version, tasted on 10-7-23. Aroma: starts very green & vegetal, after 20 minutes in the glass the vegetal softens, raw agave, cooked agave, light acidity, slightly minty, agave note becomes sweeter. Palate: confirms aromas perceived, good sweet sour & vegetal balance, as usual with low abv. it ends thin. Finish is medium, raw green agave and light sweet cooked agave notes persist for a short time.

Nose: sweet agave notes with a hint of smoky wood. very pleasant Palate: moderately sweet agave flavor with oak barrel notes and hints of anise. finish: smooth, sweet anise, medicinal, smoky agave notes. overall, it's not bad, but additives have made this tequila overwhelming sweet
