Horrific nose and taste for a blanco. If you like a cotton candy, artifical official overly sweetened profile with a little pepper and citrus... this is for you.... otherwise stay away

Good tequila for mixing on a budget. Too much alcohol on the nose. Pepper and fruits on the flavor kind of battle each other. Alcohol burn all the way to the finish and then some .

I just get mint and a burst of alcohol, nothing beyond that start to finish. This is rubbish, let’s hope oak fixes this......

Nose: Minerals, green apple and some astringency. Flavor has odd sweet and bitter notes - with a dash of pepper. Lacking.

I was overwhelmed by the alcohol aroma and taste. I tend to be overly sensitive to the alcohol, so this one was not a pleasant experience.

Blind tasted. Alcohol dominates early but gets better as it goes revealing tropical like flavors!

This is terrible. The German word for this is "Fusel". I'm convinced, this could harm your health. I don't know what happened with this new bought & sealed bottle. I let two other people taste this. Opinion: Disgusting, undrinkable.

Buttery black pepper. At 20 bucks it's unbeatable for value brands.

This is around $23/bottle on average around my area, however I have to either special order it, which adds a few dollars to the price or drive to the next closest state where the alcoholic beverage tax is high. The Corralejo reposado is easy to find everywhere around here which is also excellent but a bit of a head scratcher. Why is this fine blanco so hard to find?!?!? Anyway, this is a good mixer but a little hot and lacking in rich flavor to be a sipper.

A decent blanco for the price. Sippable straight, easily. There are better tequilas out there for the same price so it's a bit hard to recommend this to someone unless they have had lots of others. But this isn't a bad tequila at all.

Review #213 - Corralejo Tequila Blanco

To me, Corralejo seems to be kind of an overlooked brand. It's easy to find, so you don't get excited when you see it in a store. The bottle looks great, but there's no "buzz" around the tequila.
