Caramel, vanilla, honey, oak, cherry. Very sweet, surprised it’s additive free.

NOM 1502 | Nose: Agave kissed with round sweet oak. Cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla and leather. Whipped cream tinged with sweet orange liqueur and dusted with powdered sugar. Flavors: Cinnamon, mellow white pepper heat, caramel and filbert nuttiness. Vanilla follows the nose, with the addition of almonds and lush tropical fruit. Medium body. The añejo is a far better expression than its younger siblings. Finish: Not as complex a tequila as you will find in their new Roble Fino line. But a pleasant sip indeed.

NOM 1502 | Mmmmmm this is delicious, lures you in with a butterscotch & minty nose and doesn’t disappoint with follow through. Lots of agave left with delicate barrel influence, this feels like it still has the personality of the brand and not the barrel. A well made product.

NOM 1454 | The aroma is super oak heavy with a hint of mint. The flavor too is extremely oak heavy and slightly metallic... Not my favorite combo of flavors. The finish is long and builds nicely. This might be a good Anejo for someone who is more of a fan of barrel heavy tequila (potentially whiskey drinkers?). For me, it's too much barrel and overpowers everything else.

NOM 1502 | Caramel aroma. Agave comes through too. Really good tequila for the price.

This has a whiskey kind of blend. It’s very rich and has a deep flavor.

A caramel and vanilla nose which becomes more assertive with successive tastes. The taste was smooth with nuts and agave followed by a short finish of oakiness and vanilla. Not much barrel influence. A very easy anejo.

NOM 1502 | Whiskey influence is heavy on the nose and palate … I prefer less barrel taste in used barrel expressions but this is still pleasant.

Notes of roast agave, butter, caramel, and vanilla on the nose, along with warm spices. Faint melon and lemon, followed by hazelnuts. Very interesting nose on this one! Flavor is very similar, with the agave, butter, and vanilla as the dominant notes. A bit of spice in there as well, which helps bring out some tropical flavors. Has a nice underlying mineral quality throughout. Would recommend!

This didn’t excite me enough to try it again. Oak and a little spice is what I could pick up on the nose. The taste and finish was strong but not my to my taste.

NOM 1454 | A great option to own for everyday. I miss both this and the blanco when its not in my Canadian household. Partida, don’t you want to onboard into a Canadian province? Any one would do!

Overpriced no question, a decent anejo nonetheless.

NOM 1502 | Aroma once allowed to open up is vanilla, honey, smokiness, vegetal and very faint whiskey. Smoke and pepper on the entry and transitions to a very faint butterscotch and vanilla. Great flavor and finish. Lost points because I feel like the vanilla and butterscotch could be a little more pronounced for an añejo.

NOM 1454 | Full of flavor form caramel, chocolate, grapefruit, and pepper. Charred jack Daniel barrels do a great job adding layer of char to tequila along with agave. Actually found out I had NOM 1502 after doing more research.

Great looking, classy bottle, premium price...Either the craftsmanship will shine through...or it's all marketing.
