Very front of mouth. Complex flavor. Not particularly smooth.

Notes of roast agave, butter, caramel, and vanilla on the nose, along with warm spices. Faint melon and lemon, followed by hazelnuts. Very interesting nose on this one! Flavor is very similar, with the agave, butter, and vanilla as the dominant notes. A bit of spice in there as well, which helps bring out some tropical flavors. Has a nice underlying mineral quality throughout. Would recommend!

This didn’t excite me enough to try it again. Oak and a little spice is what I could pick up on the nose. The taste and finish was strong but not my to my taste.

Overpriced no question, a decent anejo nonetheless.

Very light body, buttery. Roasted agave, cooked agave. Mild spice finish. A little medicinal. A good tequila.

Vanilla notes on nose. Smooth viscosity. Buttery anejo flavor and a smokey finish. Very flavorful. Really well paired with spicy Mexican.

Review #144 - Partida Tequila Anejo

Great looking, classy bottle, premium price...Either the craftsmanship will shine through...or it's all marketing.
