Barrel forward tequila Caramel, baking spices, cinnamon, agave is a bit lost Great to introduce whiskey drinkers to a cheap option. Versatile for mixed drinks

Enjoying this new one with my brother in Tlaquepaque. Overall very good. I would drink this again. Aroma has all the normal Anejo characteristics. The taste is a little thin, and same with the finish. However it’s inexpensive and tasty on a warm day.

Aroma has a little cooked agave and butterscotch. Flavor of vanilla and fruit but not heavy oak. Medium, pleasant finish. Excellent value.

Nose: Round agave, cookie spices, fruit, butterscotch and floral notes. Flavor: Fruit, vanilla and pepper. A chocolate undercurrent. Oily in the mouth. Not bad and a great value.

Aroma hints at baked agave, pineapple, but no oak. Entry is rich and smooth... Vanilla, cream soda and anise. Finish starts smooth and then becomes warm in the throat, tongue and roof of my mouth. The heat fades except on the tongue where is lingers pleasantly. Good for sipping and mixing.

A very solid anejo especially for the price. Aged 18 months in ex-Jack Daniels barrels. On the nose I get cola, cream soda and honey. The palette has similar characteristics with a “flat Coca Cola” taste. The finish is fairly short but pleasant.

Tried at Bar Fello in Arandas Jalisco 9/10/24. Not bad at all. Smell is sweet and alcohol. Pleasant sweet taste.

40% abv. LOTE EA03320T11. Color: dark yellow. Aroma: vanilla & wood notes, caramel, slightly citrus, slight acidity, alcohol sensation is medium, a hint of sweet cooked agave notes after 20 minutes in the glass. Light notes of distilled beer = whisky, maybe from barrel aging. Palate: first sip tastes like a blended whisky that is not pure barley, caramel, light wood note & slightly astringent, light vanilla, a touch of herbaceousness, I would have guessed this is blended whisky in a blind tasting. The herbaceousness is the characteristic more similar to agave than grains. Finish is medium to long, light wood, caramel and distilled grain notes with a hint of cooked agave note at the very end persist.

Inexpensive anejo that has good notes. Light caramel and mild agave punch, perfect for whiskey enthusiasts. On the nose, somewhat thin agave profile for anejo and light caramel. Not bad for any day or mixed drinks!
